So we settle them on screen instead of on site. Every project starts in a tool called Chief Architect and renders it in Twinmotion, which means you get 2D floor plans, 3D renderings, elevations, and electrical layouts before a wall comes down. You walk through the finished room and approve it while changes still cost nothing but time.

Our History in Oconomowoc
Oconomowoc sits between lakes, and the housing stock still reflects that. The streets closest to the water carry cottages and lake houses that were added onto in stages over decades, while the neighborhoods that spread west and south filled in through the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s with larger single-family homes built to the closed floor plans of their era.
Both patterns produce the same kitchen problem from opposite directions. The older lake homes near City Beach have kitchens that were never designed for the way the house is used now, often tucked into a corner with a footprint that made sense when the place was a summer property. The newer subdivisions have kitchens that are large enough but walled off, with a formal dining room nobody eats in and a peninsula that blocks the room instead of opening it.
This is our home base. We work from Oconomowoc, we belong to the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce, and one of the projects in our portfolio is a full kitchen remodel here in town, high ceilings, a long island, and a wall that used to close the room off from the rest of the first floor.
Sixteen years in the same market means we have opened up enough of these houses to know which decades hide what. The 1970s ranches usually give up a soffit full of ductwork. The lake cottages give up framing nobody would draw that way today.

Who is actually on site during my kitchen remodel?
