We understand that remodeling can feel overwhelming, that’s why our process is built around clarity and communication. From the first contact to the final walkthrough, you’ll always know what’s happening and what comes next.
Brian comes to you for the first conversation — there’s no call center, no salesperson, no separate design team to be introduced to later. You’ll walk through your goals, your must-haves, and a realistic budget range together, in the space you’re actually remodeling.
Once you’re ready to move forward, we send you a Design & Project Development Agreement outlining your estimated range. The higher number in that range is used to calculate a 3% design fee for your plans and proposal.
Brian captures an on-site 3D scan of your space himself, then builds it out into your full floor plans, elevations, and
3D renderings in Chief Architect — the same person who sat at your kitchen table is the one doing the drawing. You’ll go back and forth on the details together until it’s right. On most projects, that’s the whole design team: no hand-off between departments.
Build It Right doesn’t run its own showroom. Instead, you’ll pick finishes and materials at trusted supplier showrooms Brian has worked with for years — and because those suppliers already have your plans on file, you’re not starting over or re-explaining your project when you walk in.
On the rare project, where a client wants a dedicated interior designer involved, Brian can bring in a trusted outside designer.
You’ll receive a detailed proposal with your selections, allowances, and a rough construction timeline. Once you approve it, your design moves straight into the build — with Brian, the same person who designed it, running the job on site.
While we handle most of the technical drawings and renderings in-house, we also collaborate with trusted local designers to ensure your project reflects both functionality and style. Whether you prefer modern, traditional, or something uniquely yours, our design partners help bring your vision to life.
