Owner-designed, owner-built remodeling across Lake Country and the rest of Waukesha County.
Build It Right Remodeling works out of Oconomowoc, and we have stayed close to home on purpose. Brian and Tammy Blankenheim started the company in 2009, and Brian has been building in this county since 1996.
Staying local is what makes the way we work possible. Brian designs your project himself, then he is on site while it is built, which only holds up when the drive is short enough to do it every day.
Kitchens, bathrooms, first floors, basements, and whole-home remodels, in the towns below. We do not take on additions, decks, siding, or other exterior work.
Waukesha County
Waukesha County is where we live and work. Our shop is in Oconomowoc, and most of our projects are within a twenty minute drive of it, which allows us to be personal and attentive with the spaces we build.

What we build here
Lake Country housing runs from cottages that were winterized and expanded a piece at a time to late-century subdivisions with too many walls in the middle. Both need the same thing before anything else happens, which is a real design. Every project starts with 2D floor plans, 3D renderings, elevations, and electrical layouts, so you approve the finished space before demolition.
